NAPOLCOM exam testing centers in CAR.
The NAPOLCOM examinations are administered in the Cordillera Administrative Region through the National Police Commission's regional office in Baguio City. Every applicant registers online, then goes to that office in person for on-site processing before the Notice of Admission is issued. This page covers what applicants in CAR should know: where the office is, where venues are typically located, how to get there, the local weather to plan around, and how to prepare once your slot is confirmed.

Where venues are in CAR, and getting there
The Cordillera regional office is at Teachers Camp in Baguio City, and Baguio is where the region's testing capacity concentrates. The rest of the region is mountainous, and applicants from Kalinga, Apayao, Ifugao and Mountain Province face long road trips through winding passes to reach the city. Landslides and road closures in the rainy months can add hours to that journey.
NAPOLCOM doesn't publish a fixed list of CAR venues — testing sites are named in each examination announcement and can change between sittings depending on capacity and the schools available, and the exact venue and room are on each applicant's Notice of Admission. When you register online you choose this regional office; NAPOLCOM then assigns your specific site, which may not be the city nearest your home. Your notice is the only authoritative source, so check it the moment it's issued.
Slots & registration
Applicant numbers in CAR are lower than in the lowland regions, but Baguio's capacity is finite and the city also draws examinees from neighbouring provinces, so register early rather than assume a slot will be there.
Weather to plan around
Baguio is cold and often wet, with fog and heavy rain during the wet season. Upland roads are prone to landslides; if you are travelling in from the far provinces, come down a day early and stay overnight rather than gamble on a dawn departure.
Notes for CAR examinees
- Regional office: 26 Teachers Camp, Baguio City 2600.
- Baguio hosts most of the region's testing capacity. Examinees from Kalinga, Apayao and Ifugao should plan for a long road trip and an overnight stay.
- Bring a jacket. Baguio mornings are cold enough to affect a three-hour sitting if you are not used to it.
CAR testing — common questions
Where is the NAPOLCOM exam held in the Cordillera?
Testing capacity centers on Baguio City, where the regional office sits. The exact venue is printed on your Notice of Admission; treat that as the only authoritative source and confirm it as soon as it is issued.
I live in Kalinga or Apayao. How early should I travel?
Come to Baguio the day before. Upland roads are slow at the best of times and can close without warning after heavy rain, and the gate cutoff on exam day is not flexible.
