When NAPOLCOM exam results come out, where they are posted, and what arrives in the mail.

NAPOLCOM does not state a results date in its examination announcements. It does, however, release on a predictable rhythm. The October 2025 PNP Entrance and Promotional Examinations were held on 19 October 2025; the complete results, with the list of passers and the top 20 examinees for both tests, were released on 19 December 2025. That is two months to the day, and the April 2026 results followed the same interval.

Plan on roughly two months, which puts the April sitting's results in June and the October sitting's results in December. A shorter wait is possible; a much longer one has not been the recent pattern.

The full list of successful examinees is posted on NAPOLCOM's website, with the top 20 examinees for the entrance examination and for each promotional class listed separately. Regional offices and NAPOLCOM's social media pages repost the announcement. News and exam-results sites republish the list within hours, which is where most examinees first see it, but the NAPOLCOM page is the authoritative copy.

Only passers are listed online. If your name is not on the list, the online result tells you that you did not pass but not by how much; the score is in the Report of Rating that follows by mail.

Two documents exist, one for each side of the 70% line. Passers receive a Certificate of Eligibility, the document that establishes the PNP Entrance eligibility appropriate for appointment as Patrolman or Patrolwoman, and the one the PNP asks for at recruitment. Examinees who did not pass receive a Report of Rating showing the score obtained.

Both are mailed to the address given at application, which is one more reason the details on the application form have to be right. Allow weeks after the online release for the mail to arrive, longer in the island regions.

NAPOLCOM's Examining Division under the Personnel and Administrative Service handles rating verification and examination inquiries at the central office in Quezon City, and publishes an email address and a verification form alongside each result. If you believe your rating is wrong, or your certificate has not arrived, that is the channel; the regional office that processed your application can also confirm what was mailed.

Two months is long enough to lose the habit and long enough to build on it. If you are confident you passed, the PNP recruitment stages that follow, the physical agility test, the medical and neuro-psychiatric examinations, the background investigation, are worth preparing for now. If you are not, the next sitting is about four months after the result, and a review started in the waiting period is a review that is halfway done when the report of rating arrives.
